Congratulations to my brother-in-law and sister-in-law on the arrival of their new daughter, Elisabeth Susan! Elie is so beautiful.
God is awesome. A baby is an amazing miracle.
Babies are so precious, with the most delicate features and beautiful smell. As I held her in my arms, I have to say that, although I loved every second of it, I was saddened a bit, because I think we're done. So, I want to enjoy my new nieces and nephews and just soak all of their preciousness in!! I totally miss that stage! My "baby" will be 5 this year!! How fast they grow.
I just want to enjoy each stage my children are in...from infancy to adolescence to adulthood. Lord, make my heart content, so that I savor every moment with my children.

AWWW!! How precious! I understand the feeling - even though my baby is only 1 now. It's going way too fast! I'm actually finding myslef thinking, "maybe I should try for that girl!" Am I crazy or what? Did I forget that night we were at Chili's and neither Ronnie or I could eat our food b/c Josh wouldn't stop crying unless we walked around with him? (remember that?) And what about all those sleepless nights and diapers and all the feedings!! Ok - do you feel better now? And by the way, I didn't know you were growing your hair out!! I've never seen it that long! It looks good! Do you still wear it curly? Ok, I'm getting off topic here...
