real heros...2 of my heros came home last week from Iraq. my brother and my nephew. i wish i could've been at the airport with robbie and the kids to welcome you back. thank you for what you do. thank you for sacrificing your families and your lives to protect us. thank you for being my heros. i am sorry that you feel unappreciated at times. you have done so much, experienced so much, and seen so much. you are appreciated, you are loved.

I agree, Dana! Those guys are heroes! They need to be appreciated and celebrated. Please let your brother & nephew know that there are people who are thankful for them and appreciate the MANY sacrifices made.

DANA!! That's so fabulous that they came home safely!! I remember when my brother came home from Iraq in the first Gulf War...the relief and gratitude are almost overhwleming...
I'm totally choked up with tears in my eyes...your brother is home. Thank you Lord!! And thank them for their service. They are sooo appreciated...and their families too...it's so hard to have the ones we love fighting but He's HOME!! WOOHOO!!
thanks for your comments, ladies. i, too, am very thankful that they are home safely, however, they are only home for R&R. they both fly back out this weekend to serve the remainder of their tours in Iraq. this is my brother's second tour in Iraq...we're praying that he will again return safely this fall and not have to go back again. this is my nephew's first tour, and i hope he doesn't have to serve a second one. please keep them and their families in your prayers.
