what worry?

I just wanted to share this devotion with you.
I think we all have something to worry about,
it's just what we do with our worry that makes the difference.

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

David Ray was a chronic worrier. One day his friend, Phil, noticed Dave was a lot more peaceful and less anxious. When asked what had happened Dave replied, "Well, it’s simple. I hired somebody else to do my worrying for me." "How much will it cost you?" his friend inquired. "One thousand dollars a day," Dave replied. "Man, where are you going to get that kind of money?" Phil asked. Dave answered with a smile, "I don’t know; that’s his worry." (Paul Powell)

Are you weighed down with anxiety? Don’t let the uncertainties of life burden your heart. The Lord invites you to put your cares on His strong shoulders. Trust Him today and worry less about tomorrow.
