(ignore the date...)So, we finally used our tickets to the Jackhammer's Game.
Jaxon read lots and lots of books this spring to earn himself and the rest of us tickets to a baseball game. We were able to clear our schedules last week and make it to a game together.
We had a fun time, but I learned a few things:
I'm not much of a baseball fan unless I'm watching my own son play the game.
They've got some very creative activities in between innings...pretty fun to watch!
Watching the game from right field after the sun sets is much more enjoying.
Joliet Central isn't very far from the stadium.
If you want a baseball game experience without Chicago traffic..
..the Jackhammer's game is the place to go.
and...
There's nothing like running the bases to a 7 year old boy.

I have to say, and I know this is not the point of your blog, but the date thing made me laugh.
So glad Jax got to finally receive his reward. That is awesome!!!
And, I'm totally with you on the watching a baseball thing - it's not my favorite. Football, however, is another story! :)
Football is much more interesting...We married the right guys, Glenda!
