I do's and I won's

Yesterday, Jason and I took a drive past our old "home," over the Wisconsin border, and through Lake Geneva to attend a friend's wedding. It was at an Inn overlooking Lake Geneva. Beautiful. Memorable. It rained during the ceremony. Crazy. Still beautiful, though. We made the long drive home last night so we could make it to Jaxon's game today.



On the way to the game- the pinto championship game- Jax was all smiles. So excited to play in a real championship!


They won. It was a close game and the other team was pretty good, but RR Brink pulled through it with a V! Yay Jax! We stuck around for the closing ceremonies and picnic. We had a great time with some good friends.

I'm certain these trophies won't collect dust for a while! One of Jaxon's coaches calls him "Happy Feet," because, whenever he makes a good play or strikes someone out when he pitches, he smiles really big and dances around a bit.

I love that he really enjoys playing.
I don't ever want him to lose that joy.
