Sometimes, when I get down about some silly detail in my life, I tend to focus on all the things going wrong. Then, when I come to my senses, I realize that I should focus on all the things going right. I start listing a few things, then more and more until I realize that there are so many more things going right in my life than wrong.

For that, I am thankful.

To God, I am thankful.

For my husband. God-fearing, God-honoring, God-seeking. A man that loves with his whole heart. Who lives life with passion. Who sets God-sized goals. Who is not afraid to come out of the cage. Who chases the Wild Goose. Who doesn't settle for mediocre. Who loves his children more than anything. Who loves me. Who is willing to try. Who makes pb & j's. Who puts ponytails in his little girl's hair. Who reads chapter books every night with his kids.

I am so thankful that God chose Jason as my partner in this life.

For my kids. They challenge me. Sharpen me. Encourage me. Amaze me. Teach me. Trust me. Love me. I love being their mom. I love that God has trusted me with their lives. I am sad when I say good-bye to them, and so happy when I see them again. I love reading with them. I love playing games with them. I love spending time with them. I love who they are. I love each of their personalities. I love that each of them reflect me in some way. I love that each of them remind me of their dad in some way. I love that each of them love God.
