Well, you can obviously tell what has "given" when something's gotta give. :)
I heard this great quote today in church:
"It's like rearranging deck furniture on the Titanic."
How many times have I made a big deal out of something that really didn't matter. At times, I've given my attention to the wrong thing. I've wasted energy. I've wasted time. Okay, so maybe it's not as motivating or moving as some quotes, but I'm hoping I don't forget this one any time soon.
