Do you know what a plate of these cookies means in our home?

Ah...yes. The perfect treat on a snowy day. I started this "tradition" 3 moves ago (that's how I measure time - being a coach's wife, your memories are filed according to schools your husband was working at or which house you were living in at the time.)

It was a snowy, cold, blustery day, and I wanted to make something special for my little kindergartner (whom I just sent to school with graduation fees) when she came home from school. I didn't have much in the house and, thankfully, there's not much in these cookies. I had all I needed to make them - butter, flour, and powdered sugar. Perfect!

That was how my "snowball" tradition started.
