Do you know why I like this picture?
Because Jason is there.He's at Ky's track meet.
He's there supporting her.
encouraging her.
and even coaching her . . . just a little bit.
And, you know the best part?
She's listening to him.
Do you think she'd listen to me like this if I were telling her how to high jump?
No.
Why would she?
I can't jump.
at all.
In fact, my husband makes fun of the way my feet temporarily leave the ground.
I'm not very athletic.
I'm musical.
That's why I married an athlete.
So our kids could be athletic musicians.
. . . or musical athletes.

Oh this brings back track and CC memories for me!!! My dad was at all my meets and took part in being my coach too! This is defintely special and she appreciates borth of you being there more than you know!
How dare you deny your inner soccer girl! And, um, it does take some coordination to be a cheerleader...if not athleticism... So, don't sell yourself short. It may be true that she wouldn't listen to you, but maybe not because you can't jump. Odds are she was only listening to him for 43 seconds anyway...and she forgot what he said after about 3 minutes. You're a fantastic mom!!
