4 things

So, what fun is a blog if you can't post a list of random things once in a while?

Here it goes:

1. I like to eat my string cheese warm. Really, I like to microwave it for about 20 seconds then eat it. So, I guess it's really that I like to eat string cheese melted, and, if I'm really fun, with marinara sauce. It's like a guilt-free mozzarella stick. Yum!

2. I have a bust of Thomas Jefferson on my piano. I know, crazy, right? Why would I have a bust of Thomas Jefferson on my piano? Yes, my mom asked me the same thing. I'm not quite sure. I think it's that it's sort of funny, maybe ironic. He wasn't a musician, yet he sits atop my piano, like he really had some great musical contribution that is included in every music history book. Sadly, I think I'm confusing my piano students and my children.

3. One of the things I look for at garage sales are white, flat sheets. I use them to make pillows and curtains and, well, just stuff. And, great news! Yesterday, I found one for $1!!! So, now I get to return the $10 white tablecloth I bought from Walmart to make pillows and curtains and stuff. There's just something fun about saving 9 bucks.

4. I still carry wipes in my purse and in my car. Seriously, if you think my kids are too old for messy faces and sticky hands, think again. We use them like crazy.
