I have accepted a challenge. I have accepted the 30-Day Husband Encouragement Challenge.
Today is day 1 for me, and I would just like to say that my husband picked out the coolest track uniforms for his track team!
Seriously, these things are cool. A while back, he was super excited about them, but I really didn't know how track uniforms could be cool, so I just smiled and nodded.
Yesterday, I went to the guys' first indoor track meet and witnessed just how cool they were. There is a huge gold W on the chest, and a thin white stripe all the way down the back. Let me just explain why that is so cool. As I was watching the runners compete, they fly by so quickly there's not much time to read the school name on the front of the uniform in the super small font that is usually used to write out the school name, and once the runner has passed, you can't really tell which runner is on the team you're rooting for, because the shirts are plain in the back.
Let me tell you, for an inexperienced track spectator like myself, I found it incredibly easy to follow our guys when they were rounding the indoor oval. All because of my super designer husband!
