I have been wanting to try a recipe for homemade pretzels and really never had the 2 hours it takes to make them. . . until Tuesday night.
So, after I made the dough and let it rise (for about 2+ hours), the family was ready to help out.
I loved this part, because this is what I had pictured in my head, but I didn't want to force it, so I didn't recruit any help. Once I started rolling out the dough, Kennedy saw what I was doing and asked if she could help, and I said "absolutely!" Before long, my whole family was at the counter rolling out dough, shaping it into pretzels.
I am so not even lying when I say that these were DELICIOUS!! Seriously, they tasted like pretzels you get at the mall. Not at Walmart or Target, but at the mall.
The best part about it was all the fun we had as a family. It will be an awesome memory from the Blizzard of 2011.

We made pretzels too - how funny! But, you know what they say about great minds!
btw...I'm still laughing on how your pretzels were the kind you get at the mall - ha, love it! I think you'd find my batch at Target next to the pizza...
