Ok, this one may sound weird, but, sometimes he does a mom's job.
Maybe that's the wrong thing to say, but here's what I mean:
Jason irons our clothes if I don't have time.
When the girls were little, he would do their hair. He's a master of the ponytail, let me tell ya. And, I think this is in his blood, because, I hear his brother does his daughters' hair. :)
He'll clean up the kitchen, too. However, now that we have a teenager, we have assigned the job to her. But, there are times when our teen is too busy, and I am scrambling to get things done.
He will also make the bed. I'm not talking about straightening the blankets after a night's rest. I'm talking about putting the sheets on. And, not just our bed. He's made the kids' beds, too. You know those nights when I've thought I've had more time than I really do? I strip the bed, wash the sheets, and forget to make the bed until the kids are ready to jump in them at night. Jason saves the day and the bedtime routine!
There is one thing he has only done about 2 times, if that, the entire 15 1/2 years we've been married - clean the toilets. I'm fine with that, though. He does plenty.
