It's a beautiful day. The sun is shining. The sky is blue.
I'm heading to an eye specialist to make sure my occular pressure is still where it should be (which will be AWESOME if it is - that's a post in itself). The kids are heading to school, and Jason has already begun his day at work.
Busy day for us, but my mind isn't on our tasks ahead, it's on Mary's.
Aunt Mary begins an aggressive round of chemo this morning.
What does your day hold? Actually, what do you think your day holds, because we really don't know, do we?
There's something Beth Moore wrote in her study of James. It's based on James 4:14.
God is the one with the real plan.
His is the only day-timer based on certainty.
That's one reason why spending time with God
in His Word in the morning is so vital.
He wants to prepare us for the reality
of our upcoming day. Not our theory.
