the cake

Well, here it is...

The cake choice of the bride and groom was funfetti with rainbow chip frosting - hence the rainbow chip frosting on the top of the cake. (The rainbow chip frosting was in between the layers on the rest of the tiers and in the middle of the sheet cakes.)

What you don't see are the five sheet cakes that I also made. A HUGE thank you to my mom for helping me out with the big job. She came over Friday and we frosted, trimmed, and stacked for about 8 hours. (I had baked all the cakes all week and froze them until Friday.) It's so crazy that you spend so much time on a cake for about 5 pictures, only to be cut into hundreds of pieces.

Jason broke his shoe doing stunts at Steve & Ro's wedding, so he just sat back and watched this time. And, we have a family full of crazy people that can't resist fun...and that's only the Aubry side!
