Here in our household, we are in a season. . . football season, that is. Other people spend fall curled up on the couch watching the glow of the fire in their fireplace while they sip hot chocolate.
Not us.
We spend it by snagging any time we can with our guy. And what a great guy he is. Sometimes, it's a quick book before bed,
(Bonus points if you know what book he's reading to Kenn.)
Or a quick hug before school,
Whenever it is, we enjoy every minute of it.
And, when we are not with him, we spend time watching him from the stands and getting pictures with our school mascot.
(Next year, this shot may be a bit more dangerous!)
And, if we aren't in the stands watching the Steelmen, we are on the grass cheering for our Jet.
(Jet. . . now there's a J name we never thought of!)
Enjoy your hot chocolate as you sit by the fire.
I'll be at the game.

Was he reading Miss Nelson is Missing?
Gratitude...for the moments you have w/him! That's what this time of year is about....harvest, giving thanks. The guy in our family is sometimes scarce, too... Gotta make the most of what you have, right? A mom from our church died last week in a car accident--very sad. I know her surviving 3 kids and hubby will be missing those moments with her.
