They are rubber pellets from turf fields. When Jason coached on a turf field for the first time, he came home and tracked this stuff all over the house. I had no idea, at first, what it was until I told him about this mysterious black stuff on our floors. He took a quick look and said, "Oh yeah, that's just stuff from a turf field."
