10 things

I haven't taken much time to post on my blog or update my facebook status lately, so I thought I'd take a few minutes to update. . .

1. We still live where we live. :) And the house is totally Christmas ready. I love Christmas! I love the warmth and excitement it brings to our home.

2. Jason has finished his Master's Degree!!!! Yay for Jason!! It's been a very busy 2 years, but he finished it with a 3.5 gpa!!

3. God is growing us and stretching us and continuing to speak to us. Thank you for calling us out of our comfort zone, Lord!

4. We are continuing to learn how much we don't know about raising kids. The teenage years are crazy!

5. Our basement is super cool. What a great place it has turned into. The kids absolutely love playing down there. (Perfect timing for the way winter sometimes forces us to stay indoors.)

6. We park both cars in our garage now! After a lot of sorting and goodwilling, we have made enough room to park both of our vehicles inside. (Because parking out in this snow and cold is just not fun!)

7. I have decided not to sub until after Christmas break, and I am enjoying it sooooo much! I love keeping up with laundry and the family or even just watching a Christmas movie while I wrap presents. Oh, how nice!

8. Funny thing - even with more time on my hands, I spend less time online. For that, I am relieved. Maybe I have more time just because I am not online as much. :)

9. I love my kids, and I don't want to miss a minute of their lives. I can never get this time back.

10. I love my husband, and I can't imagine life without him. He is a great partner in this life and makes it so much more interesting and fun! And, he's a great drip fixer and knows how to keep our water hot.
