She did it! Kennedy has been asking to get her ears pierced for about a year now, and, because we didn't let Ky get her ears pierced until she was 9 (because I was 9 when I got my ears pierced), we were holding Kennedy off. In the meantime, we let her use magnetic earrings - NOT good. I don't recommend them AT ALL!! For Christmas, we trashed the whole you-have-to-be-the-same-age-as-your-sister-was-when-she-got-her-ears-pierced thing (forgive us, Ky!) and pierced her ears, in Branson.
She did awesome. I think it hurt a bit, because, I (being a bad mom) took this picture of her first ear getting pierced, then put down the camera to hold her hand for the second ear. I could tell by her very tight, very strong squeeze that it sort of hurt. She is loving her new earrings and taking such good care of them. Yay, Kennedy!

I love the pic of Jason too. I'm guessing he's filling out the forms, but it looks like he's making a game plan - ha!
I remember having to wait till I was 7 to get my ears pierced and then my sister got her ears pierced when she was a toddler!!! Strange how time changes things!!!
