big day

July 4th was an awesome day for our family. Kennedy and Jaxon were both baptized. Jaxon by Jason and Kennedy by Pastor Justin. (Jason asked Kennedy if she wanted him (Jason) to baptize her because Jaxon asked Jason if he would baptize him, but Kennedy said she wanted Justin to baptize her. Go figure, right?)

Anyway, the kids have been wanting to get baptized for over a year, so we were super excited when our church scheduled a baptism on July 4th after our outdoor service.

Raising kids is difficult. Not in a bad way, but in a hopeful way. We try to do our best to train up our kids, but there's only so far we can go with that. There is a point when they have to make the decision for themselves. And, it's cool when they do. It's so awesome to see your kids love Christ and desire what He desires.
