We picked out our Christmas tree this weekend. Or, ... was it, ... we had a snowball fight at the Christmas tree farm this weekend and just happened to find a tree in the middle of it.
That's how we roll, I guess.
Life is a competition.
And, everything we do ends with someone crying. This time it was me. "Why can't we just find a Christmas tree without having to dodge snowballs?" I whined. Then, everyone looked at me and said, "Because this is so much fun!" J has so much influence on our kids, thankfully! If not, their lives would be so boring and safe. :)
Oh, by the way, the saw in the picture was really just a prop. After trying to get through the trunk of the tree for about 10 minutes and getting nowhere, an awesome, generous man with a chainsaw stopped and asked us if he could cut down our tree for us. (He's an experienced real tree guy, unlike us.) Then, he and his wife wished us a Merry Christmas. I love when God puts notes in our lunchbox like that!
Merry Christmas!
