After our season was over, we made our annual trip to a college game in November. There once was a time when we would attend a Purdue or Northwestern game once our season was over.
College games are awesome. It's an experience you should add to your life.
Really.
Now, we know college players. Instead of heading to a random college game, we make a trip to watch one of Jason's former players play. This year, it was a trip to Michigan to watch Grand Valley State.
It's a Division II school, but it was packed anyway. There were so many fans at this game. The atmosphere was incredible. Unfortunately, the player we went to watch had broken his arm the week before. Like, really broke it. Like, plate and staples broke it.
However, we were still able to visit with him and watch his team play.
Before the game, we spent some time at the mall.
And had pretzels.
It was certainly cold outside, but watching the game next to my guy warmed my heart. (Cheezy, I know!)
