Merry Christmas!

The final days before Christmas are usually my busiest.

Although I have every intention to get things going and finished before the kids are out of school for Christmas break, I usually don't. Ok. I never do. So, it leaves quite a to-do list for this week.

But, I love it.

I love preparing, making, baking, creating, and celebrating. It does, however, get a bit chaotic at times. That I don't enjoy. I don't like flying out of the house, leaving a huge mess behind in our whirlwind exit.

So, I'm really trying to use my time wisely. To channel my creativity before it's too late. To plan and make lists and plan and make lists. To look ahead and figure out what I need to get done vs what I'd like to have done. To focus on giving more of myself. To enjoy the season.

That's my hope for you, too.
