1. Our van is in the shop getting fixed. We were rear-ended Friday night.
2. Jason's car needs fixed. He leaves a trail of oil everywhere he goes.
3. My washer is broken and won't be serviced until Monday. Today is Wednesday. We have a family of 5. It "broke" doing a load of towels, so I have a basket of dripping, soaking wet towels, a washer with water still in it, and a soaked rug in my laundry room. I know I need to do something about it, because it's really going to stink very soon!
Yeah, these really aren't the best of situations, so let me list them again:
1. Our van is in the shop getting fixed. We were rear-ended Friday night. Everyone is ok, and we have a rental car to use until it gets fixed.
2. Jason's car needs to be fixed. Thankfully, it doesn't have to be replaced. It's fixable.
3. My washer's broken. Thankfully, I washed Ky's uniform and warm-ups on Monday. They are clean for this weekend, and, hopefully, everyone has enough clean underwear to get them through the next several days. If not, I guess they could always wear their swimming suits and shower in them.
Was that gross? Probably.
I choose to focus past the problem and on what is worthy of praise.
