happy birthday, Kennedy

Kennedy turned 9 this weekend, so we celebrated in our traditional way.

Of course, "the birthday fairy" decorated the stair railings with balloons and paper chains the color choice of the birthday girl,

(The kids know it's really me, but it's done while they are sleeping,

so we say the birthday fairy did it.)

hung the birthday banner - which made it's first appearance for Kennedy this year,

and hung up 9 pictures of our sweet, sweet child for her 9th birthday.

Our little bug-a-boo doesn't like traditional birthday cake. She likes to eat dirt on her birthday. And worms.

This doll likes to eat dirt and worms instead of birthday cake.

What?!
