the color

Here's the color of her room.

I got lots of paint samples and taped them on the wall, making sure to look at each one in daylight and at night. I also changed them around the room, seeing what they would look like on the wall opposite the window and the wall with the window.

I finally chose one that seemed a little lighter than I wanted, but reminded myself that when 4 walls are covered in that color, it will seem about a shade darker. It did.

However, as I walked into Menards, I started to doubt my color choice. I almost went for a darker shade and had to, literally, talk some sense into myself. First of all, NEVER choose your color inside the store. It just doesn't look as good on your walls as it does in the paint department!

So, I went with my original color and am so glad I did! It is exactly what I wanted!!
